چکیده

Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy several irrigants and an aqueous extract Fructus mume in eradicating three kinds biofilm. Materials Methods: A three-species biofilm E. faecalis, P. gingivalis F. nucleatum were cultivated for one week on Thermanox™ plates. Each specimen immersed 8 minutes various irrigants: solution, buffered citric acid, sodium hypochlorite control (non-irrigated). LIVE/DEAD® BacLightTM staining confocal light scanning microscopy used number viable bacteria left substrate. same then extracted subjected electron (SEM). Results: Images taken at 12 locations across biofilm, which classified into four areas concern: Bottom, would spend most experiment submerged solution; It struck centre by stream irrigant.; Middle Upper, where impression caused irrigant splattering or vaporizing. Results amount residual indicated that showed no significant activity, with effect like even significantly inferior hypochlorite. Conclusion: Sodium (0.5%) solution greater group as antimicrobial agent against

Erratum to: Fructus mume extracts alleviate cognitive impairments in 5XFAD transgenic mice

BACKGROUND Fructus mume (F. mume) has been used as a traditional treatment for ulcer, cough, and digestive problems for many years in Asian countries. Previous studies have demonstrated that F. mume extracts alleviate cognitive deficits in rats with chronic cerebral hypoperfusion and in mice with scopolamine treatments. The present experiment was conducted to examine the effects of F. mume on c...

Antiplatelet and antithrombotic effect of Phyllostachys pubescens leaves and Mume Fructus combination

BACKGROUND Agents currently used for the treatment and prevention of thrombosis have a number of side effects. We conducted this study to develop antithrombotic agents from herbs that are used in food. METHODS The 80% (v/v) ethanol extracts of Phyllostachys pubescens leaf (PL) and Mume Fructus (MF) and their combinations-2:1 (PM21), 1:1 (PM11), and 1:2 (PM12)-were evaluated on rat platelet ag...

This study was mainly to observe the anti-allergic effect of Fructus cnidii ethanol extract. Three methods were chose to observe the anti-allergic effect of Fructus cnidii including rat Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis (PCA) tests, rat skull periosteum mast cell degranulation tests, and histamine released factors in rat peritoneal mast cells sensitized mast cells with vitro techniques. The PCA inh...

Inhibition of Klebsiella pneumoniae Growth and Capsular Polysaccharide Biosynthesis by Fructus mume

Klebsiella pneumoniae is the predominant pathogen isolated from liver abscess of diabetic patients in Asian countries. With the spread of multiple-drug-resistant K. pneumoniae, there is an increasing need for the development of alternative bactericides and approaches to block the production of bacterial virulence factors. Capsular polysaccharide (CPS), especially from the K1 and K2 serotypes, i...
